A major financial institution was acquiring the back- and middle-office activities of an asset manager. Avertim supported the client with Project Managers to guide the full program.

Objectives

  • A smooth lift-out of the operational activities of the Asset Manager and drop-in the Client’s organization

  • Further implemented Prince2 ® methodology at Client
  • Development of Project Charters, Action Lists, Issue Log, Risk Log, Management Information

Change Management

  • Mapped the AS-IS situation of Client and Asset Manager and developed the TO-BE situation
  • Reconciled the Agile way-of-working of the Asset Manager with the traditional approach towards Change Management of the Client

Coordination and communication

  • Worked together with more than 80 specialists on the project
  • Provided all parties with necessary information regarding changes

  • 100% transfer of in-scope employees of Asset Manager in Client organization
  • Full operational and infrastructure readiness of new organization in less than 5 months
