Senior and Lead Consultant

I work primarily at the client site, where I am part of an engineering team. My role is to support equipment validation and lifecycle management. Since joining Avertim, my role has evolved: I have more responsibilities and tasks, which allows me to further develop my skills. I am also a coach for a colleague at Avertim.

Although I spend most of my time at the client, I regularly go to the Amsterdam office. The team there is young, dynamic, and very open: we can easily discuss challenges or ask for help when needed. This collaboration and team spirit are truly motivating. Avertim also puts a strong focus on personal development: I’ve been able to follow certified training courses in addition to the technical skills I developed in my current project.

My Business Manager plays a key role in my growth. Every month, we meet to discuss how I’m feeling, what I need, and to help me prepare for new projects or plan my training. Thanks to this support, I feel guided in my career and encouraged to achieve my goals.

What I particularly appreciate about Avertim is the diversity of assignments and the fact that I’m not limited to one specific field. My current assignment fits perfectly with what I wanted to do, and I felt no pressure when transitioning to it.

I’m excited to see Avertim continue to grow in the Netherlands. In just seven years, we’ve gone from a small office to a team of 25 people with new clients and projects. It’s motivating to be part of this expansion.

From the very beginning, I felt fully integrated at Avertim. I had the opportunity to gain a solid understanding of the company, its culture, and its different service lines, while building strong connections within the Brussels office. This created a strong foundation for my further development as a consultant.

With a background in pharmaceutical research and a degree in pharmacy, I was eager to apply my scientific expertise in a dynamic consulting environment. Avertim immediately stood out for its human-centric culture and opportunities in the life sciences sector. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and supported.

Over time, I evolved into the role of Senior Consultant. I currently work onsite as a process improvement engineer within a large pharmaceutical production environment. My role involves contributing to operational improvements, supporting cross‑functional initiatives, and collaborating closely with both client teams and fellow Avertimers.
I particularly appreciate the transparent discussion around project opportunities, which gives clear visibility and allows me to engage in assignments that align with my interests and development.

Beyond project work, Avertim has consistently supported my long‑term development. I completed a Master after Master in Industrial Pharmacy at KU Leuven to become a Qualified Person, gaining the regulatory competence to release medicinal products. This additional qualification was fully supported by Avertim as part of its commitment to continuous learning and expertise growth.

Today, I clearly see my role as a two‑way relationship. Avertim provides me with opportunities, perspectives, and challenges that help me grow, while I can, in return, contribute back to the company by sharing my knowledge, supporting internal trainings, and contributing to learning and development initiatives.

The culture here is open, energetic, and focused on growth. Regular team events, knowledge-sharing moments, and an emphasis on work-life balance make Avertim more than just a workplace; it’s a community.

I’m proud of the path I’ve taken so far and the responsibilities I’ve gained. I look forward to continuing this journey and contributing to Avertim’s future growth.
