Rasa's story at the German Cancer Research Center
In September, Rasa, one of our consultants, took part in the “Project Management” job fair of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, co-sponsored by Avertim.
There, she delivered a speech on her own career path and all the possibilities a position as a Consultant can offer, especially to people with an academic or scientific background. Rasa could very well relate to that, because it was exactly her case as she first started at Avertim in Frankfurt in 2017.
A great experience
Before working in our company, Rasa had ten years of experience mainly in academic research in oncology. After that, she decided to change her career path and face the challenges of the industry.
For preparing, she completed an intensive training in Project and Quality Management, which enabled her to start her career as a consultant in Life Sciences. In her first customer project with Avertim, she helped a large German biotech company set up a project portfolio for global R&D Cell Culture projects. There she had the opportunity to apply both her scientific and project management knowledge in the best possible way and therefore bring a valuable contribution for the client.
